Public city walk through Potsdam with a local expert
This entertaining journey portrays the city’s past with a glimpse into Potsdam’s future. It starts at the tourist information center in the mobiagentur Potsdam, which is based at Potsdam main station. From there the tour leads to the square Alter Markt with its St. Nicholas’ Church, the Museum Barberini and the Brandenburg State Parliament – a new historic centre of the city. Continuing through the baroque city centre you will reach Potsdam’s shopping street Brandenburger Straße. Afterwards you may combine the city walk with a visit to Sanssouci Palace, which is within walking distance from here.
