Potsdamer Weihnachtszauber
24.11. - 28.12. – daily
The Potsdam Christmas Market, with its 250 stalls in Potsdam city centre, invites you to experience an unforgettable pre-Christmas atmosphere. Nestled in Luisenplatz is a white pagoda village where you can marvel at craftsmanship, sample delicacies and listen to jazz and swing music. A carousel and the city's tallest Christmas tree await you at the Brandenburg Gate. On the other side of Brandenburgstraße is Bassinplatz with an ice rink, carousels, the Ore Mountains and Santa's hut, Sternenallee, a Ferris wheel and the main stage.
Bohemian Christmas markets at the Weberplatz Babelsberg
28.11. – 07.12.2025 always Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Over 270 years ago, Bohemian weavers settled in what is now the Babelsberg district. The Christmas markets feature unique handmade items, live music and Bohemian delicacies. Children can look forward to the Bohemian crystal fairy and Santa's office. Admission is free for everyone.
Sinterklaas-Fest in the dutch quater
13.12. & 14.12.2025
As in the Netherlands, Sinterklaas rides into the Dutch quarter on his grey horse and opens the Christmas market. Dutch and local traders and restaurateurs offer a colourful potpourri of all kinds of delicacies, fine goods and interesting craft demonstrations at around 100 market stalls.
Sternenmarkt & Sternenfest – Christmas encounter with Poland
05.12. – 07.12.2025
On the second weekend of Advent, you can experience the special Christmas atmosphere of our neighboring country Poland for the 20th time at the Kutschstallhof courtyard of the Brandenburg Museum. Polish artists and artisans will be offering handmade creations, and traditional Polish specialties will round out the offerings. The historic vaulted hall will once again become a meeting place for Germans and Poles. The Sternenfest (Star Festival) accompanies the market with dance, theater, concerts, and activities for children.
